How much snow did you get?

Christopher C. NC said...

There was less than half an inch when I got home. Call it a thick dusting.

It does look pretty. Glad you are ok.

Lola it is pretty and cold and there is more of it in the diagnosis for most of next week.

I am in Texas for Christmas and we had a white Christmas. I am afraid that when I get back to the mountains I will have snow again. Maybe I can enjoy it a couple more times before I start wishing for spring.

Hi, I stumbled across your blog while researching flowers. I love the snowy pictures of your lovely NC mountain. I wanted to ask you if it would be ok to copy a couple of your camellia pictures to do a drawing or two off of. What I do, probably will not be a duplicate of your picture, I just need a nice reference. I have never had the pleasure of seeing one of these beautiful flowers in person. Thanks to my mother who grew up in Apex, NC I have a love of flowers. Kris

Dianne I doubt you got snow. This was a 3500 feet and above snow. Looks like more is on the way.

Hi Lisianblue. I checked you out. It is nice that you have a profile and web presence. That helps. Yes you may copy the camellia pics to draw them. Thank you for asking first.

These camellias were planted by my grandmother 60 to 80 years ago. If you look around Christmas each year on the blog you are bound to find more camellias.
