Winter wasn't giving up
A fine powdered snow kept falling
And falling
Is it snow
Or frozen bits of cloud
Too heavy to remain aloft
I decided to stay put
And looked for other amusements
Like sun ripened fresh tomatoes
Winter has decided to stay put
In the last week of January
On into February
I see
The list for the week is pocketed with snowy
Nothing warm enough for spring
Eventually winter gets here

I forgot how close your old chimney is to the highway. In the summer it is barely visible with all the plant growth.
Do you have any pictures or records of the house or structure that the chimney once belonged to?
Love that old chimney. If it could only talk.
The chimney came as is when my parents bought the land in 73'. We don't have any pictures or records of what it was, only word of mouth that it was a small cabin used in the summer when the cattle were brought up to pasture.
