Through a break in incessant rains.
A promise at sunset that has been rendered moot each morning.
By drizzle and downpour.
Enter August
Insulated
In a brief clearing.

Living the life of gardening high on the low spot of a North Carolina mountaintop.

Just beautiful!
I hope you get some good weather so you can work on your cabin projects. The rain is good for the roadside veggie garden though....
And, entering with serenity and beauty.
What beautiful photos! I hope August brings you some sunny days to finish all your projects.
I just can't believe that August will be as cool and wet as July. August is always so hot and dry. We will just have to wait and see. At any rate...Welcome August.
Another month entering our world to further please us with whatever it has to offer.
Rains are good for all. We had another thunder storm this afternoon. I need that pontoon again. Water every where. I don't dare try to go into the back yard at this point.
I do need to check the new garden I've started. Gourds are growing all over the chain link fence. I sure hope I get more gourds but different than last yr.
I know the rain slows your outside projects but it sure is good for the roadside garden. I do hope you have some sunny weather to remedy your drain problem.
