Now Showing On The Forest Floor

Anemone acutiloba and/or Anemone americana

A whole lot of anemone, carpets of it.

Dicentra canadensis

Cardamine concatenata

Sanguinaria canadensis

An obscure member of the Liliaceae, closely related but not likely to be Melanthium latifolium.

Sometimes you don't know if there is more of everything, if it is just a good year or if I am becoming more familiar with the 'aina.

Sure looks good. I didn't realize there was so many little pretties on the forest floor. Didn't have much time to look I guess.

Ah, the euphoria of spring! I am currently traveling down 85 on the way to Atlanta and have watched it unfold as in time lapse photography. The resident gardeners will have much on which to catch up! Happy Gardening!

You have so many beautiful things everywhere and most importantly...you notice all of them! Welcome home to the Resident Gardeners. I bet they love coming back to the well tended mountain top!

Heaven is a mountain top in North Carolina. I wish I could be there now.

How thick does that get in your forest floor? It looks so pretty as it comes out for spring.

I love spring green and you have white to go along with it. Lovely little wildflowers.
