After the blizzard we got rimed.
A thick frozen fog swirled through the night. It only began to lift as the sun came up.
Everything was encrusted by white.
Button needed a closer look.
He's growing up and turning wild, venturing farther from home. He doesn't truly mind the cold and snow. It is the daylight that is shunned. Daytime is nap time.
The sun did come out. The white frosting fell off. The snow thinned and dribbled away. The crocus were still there.
It will take another day or two before we are completely released from the icy grip.
