The Snow Will Begin Shortly

The suggested amount is only minimal. Same with the temperature. Tomorrow's high may not be above freezing. The sun should be out though. Big whoop. Sunny and cold with gusty winds. It will be a laundry day.

Winter arrived late and is lingering. Friday looks a touch better. Then there are two days of rain and/or snow followed by a half a week of chill. The daffodils are chomping at the bit. There was some mention of it being spring today. I'm not so sure.

Blue chionodoxa pop up through the litter. I am imagining a vast carpet of little blue stars in future almost springs. It may be time for me to start buying bulbs to help this process along. They do set seed, but it would be several years before even this tiny bulb reached a blooming size. Without a flower they would go unnoticed.

The clouds roll in. The temperature declines. Is it snowing yet?
