Eryngium yuccifolium stands above.
The Gloriosa daisies bloom in profusion.
Shasta Daisy with a compliment of Black-Eyed Susan.
Echinacea comes in light and dark.
The grasses grow tall. It is a bit early for them to bloom. They wait for the end and the crescendo of the tall flower meadow.
Campanula americana sits at the edge of the forest.
Button and Dina, eat, play and grow. Today they had their first little foray outside.

Sweet little tails. I don't doubt that Cleome will reseed. Don't fret about that.
How did that foray outside go?
Getting close to late Summer blooms seem to get more intense. Yes, the Cleome will reseed itself. Next time it shall be just a beautiful.
Tails semiliar but yet different. I'm sure the foray was an experience to remember.
I finally have a nice big stand of Shasta Daisies....now to add some Black Eyed Susans. I had Cleome in Virginia, those thorny stemmed blooms reseeded all over the place!
