In Its Grip

I came home yesterday to fog so thick the naked trees were raining. It was still here in the morning, dripping, and still here when I got back home. Frigid is on the agenda.

Down in town there are leaves, lots of leaves to move around. Some of them were still attached to the shrubberies and looking rather nice. Fothergilla and blueberry do red, orange and yellow before the frigid arrives.

The fog has gotten heavy now. It has frozen and is falling to the ground.
