Daffodils Down Low

I have ordered and planted a few bulbs other than on the mountain top.

A named cultivar Redbud tree on the right contrasts with two seedling trees on the left.

When I plant bulbs, I do it in quantity per hole and drifts that sweep through a bed.

Good thing I plant daffodils. The tulip 'Negrita' I had thought was so reliable and multiplying was a no show at Client #1's this year. Lots of foliage and no flowers. Daffodils are more dependable even though I am seeing they are not fool proof in all situations.

Daffodils are the best. Tulips are showy.
