Half Way To A Memory

The Yellie Mums are ready to pop. And just in time. The suggested low on Sunday morning has been creeping steadily lower. It's now at 34. Any lower and we will be getting the 3500 foot elevation warning.

Colder things have happened even earlier in the year.

The grasses out by the scenic byway already have a substantial impact.

They will hold my interest all winter long while everything else crumbles back into the earth.

The blue asters will linger as long as the temperatures allow or until they are done blooming.

I would be fine with a slow extended demise of the time of vegetation.

The colors of the Tall Flower Meadow are already half way to a memory. Let it last just a couple weeks longer.
