Out Beyond Yonder

I live beyond that highest mountain in the distance.

Along this winding road.

In the forest where a beam of light shines on the red umbels of the Devil's Walking Stick.

Blue asters and white grasses grow at the forest edge.

And red remains when the green has been removed.

In a forest turning

Out beyond yonder, in the autumn of imagination.

What glorious weather. The colors really pop against the blue sky. Could pic #1's distant mountain be Chambers Mtn?

So nice. I love the way you put words.

Dana I don't really know where Chambers Mtn is. On the right is Crabtree and Sandy Mush balds. I think the center is Mt. Sterling in GSMNP and the left is Eagles Nest Ridge that separates Waynesville from Maggie valley.

Thanks Lola.
