Silence

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Wow, that is pretty. I know the silence of a snow covered world. There's nothing like it. Even with all it's beauty & silence it makes you think how minute we are.
I hope you have all that you need. Take care, stay warm.
Hugs.

Is that the byway in pic 3? Has it been plowed?

Wow, you are getting blasted! Glad your power is still on--oops, maybe I shouldn't jinx you. It does look awful purty though. Watch your back shoveling.

Hi Christopher!
Just amazing and gorgeous! I love that picture of the rooftop of the cozy cabin with its blue trimmed windows showing. Stay warm!

Not a creature was stirring...except you out there taking pictures! :)

It is beautiful and tonight the trees are being frosted with ice/rime. It's also a bit depressing. I don't think it is lack of sun. For me it is the feeling of being confined. I can't go on a stroll. I need snow shoes.

Sallysmom they keep trying to plow the scenic byway and late this afternoon a big grader went by that can push the snow further off the road than the plow. I'm afraid what the piles at the end of the drives will look like and if the rickety old fence in front of the road side frozen vegetable garden can handle that amount of snow being shoved against it.

Life goes on.

Aren't my roofs cute? I thought so, so I took a picture.

There are few moments more perfect than the silence after a snowfall. We just, finally, had our first "big" snow of 6". Previously, we'd only had 2" this winter. Sad.
