An immense crystal chandelier with thousands and thousands of unusually large droplets lit up with a brief appearance of the sun.
This glistening phenomena lasted but a short while. The fog turned to clouds. That just means they were over my head. The sun disappeared. The droplets fell and evaporated.
And the temperature steadily dropped. By the time my trim boards were cut and sanded it was too cold to stain.

Aren't those crystal chandeliers pretty? I love nature especially when she shows us such beauty if only for a minute.
Do stay warm.
Beautiful! It looks like a thick spider web.
What a beautiful metaphor. I hadn't thought of that before; thanks. Sorry for the return of the cold; coming here too.

Lola nature has some pretty neat tricks in her repertoire.
Siria this was some major thick fog. The kind that makes the forest rain, but in the open nothing falls.
Bev, the melting was nice, but I am content for now with the 45/25 range. Don't want things to get all hot and goofy.
It's nice to share your satisfaction in capturing that ephemeral moment before the chandelier melted away.
