The Danger Ahead

Now I wait for them to arrive and do the deed. I have done all the ground level work and a good deal of it that could be done with a pole saw. That alone should merit some respect. Plants are tagged. I am as physically prepared as I can be.

But way up in the sky, up where the electric wires reside well out of my reach are branches they will want to send crashing to the ground.

Parts of my garden of a low mounding tapestry of evergreen texture and color lay beneath.

I don't think there is much I can do about the fall. It is the cleanup where further damage can be avoided by simply paying attention. Will they?

Because I could, I pulled two of my newly planted evergreens in one of the major danger zones. Better to be safe than pissed off.

Before you start, please, let's talk a walk through the garden.

Experience a bit of magic. You are at Ku'ulei 'Aina. It is something you will remember.
